The Royan Biotechnology Incubator investment event, focusing on infertility diagnosis and treatment, was held on February 1 as the twenty-second “Peyvand” event, in collaboration with the Presidential Innovation and Prosperity Fund. The event took place at the Innovation and Prosperity Fund headquarters and was attended by investors, specialists, and technology development teams.
During the event, seven technology teams operating across the infertility diagnosis and treatment value chain presented their projects with the objective of attracting investment, following the completion of scientific evaluation and mentoring processes. Representatives of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund and the Academic Center for Education, Culture and Research (ACECR) Research and Technology Fund outlined available financial and investment support mechanisms and emphasized the importance of targeted support for innovative and high-risk projects within this strategic field.
The total requested investment for the proposed projects was estimated at approximately 735 billion Rials (73.5 billion Tomans). It was agreed that specialized technical evaluations would continue to facilitate final investment decision-making. This event was organized to promote the development of advanced health technologies, support knowledge-based enterprises, and facilitate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements in the field of infertility treatment.
